Pay Rate:
$26/hr. on W2
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (overtime/off shifts/call-ins as required).
Job Summary: Perform installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance of facility and manufacturing equipment, including electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, HVAC, chillers, and pump systems. Troubleshoot operational issues, coordinate outside vendors, maintain spare parts inventory, and document maintenance activities. Provide technical support across departments while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and chiller systems. Perform emergency repairs and preventative maintenance per audits and procedures. Troubleshoot equipment and facility issues, recommending solutions. Maintain inventory of spare parts, consumables, and tooling. Coordinate with external vendors and internal departments for operational support. Develop and maintain documentation (blueprints, plans, permits, maintenance logs). Apply technical skills to moderately complex problems with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in multiple mechanical/electrical trades required. Advanced industrial mechanic skills; basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Experience with air compressors, refrigeration, HVAC, chillers, painting, carpentry, and small-scale construction. Familiarity with 5-S principles and working in fast-paced production environments. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team. Strong verbal and written communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office. Able to lift up to 35 pounds.
