The SPY-6 Family of Radars Baseline Manager for Software and Infrastructure will be responsible for the successful management and delivery of software as well as infrastructure baselines, field bulletins, and SVDs (Software Version Descriptions) to support SPY-6 FoR radar systems. This role requires expertise in Jira processes, ClearCase, Git, release management, and integration with LBTS (Land-Based Test Sites) and customer environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, leadership skills, and experience in radar system software development and deployment.

What You Will Do

Oversee the development, integration, and maintenance of SPY-6 software baselines for radar systems.

Ensure proper configuration control, versioning, and release tracking of software baselines.

Jira Processes

Manage and maintain Jira workflows for tracking software development, defect resolution, and feature requests.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely updates in Jira.

ClearCase and Git Management

Administer and manage ClearCase and Git repositories to maintain proper version control and branching strategies.

Develop and enforce best practices for source code management, including branching, merging, and tagging workflows.

Support developers with repository setup, troubleshooting, and process adherence.

Migrate and integrate legacy ClearCase repositories to Git, as required.

Field Bulletins and SVDs

Author and oversee the release of Field Bulletins to communicate critical software updates or fixes.

Develop and distribute Software Version Descriptions (SVDs) to document baseline changes and enhancements.

Integration and Delivery

Coordinate the release of software baselines to LBTS for testing and validation.

Collaborate with customers to deliver software updates and provide technical support during integration.

Work closely with software developers, system engineers, and program managers to meet project milestones and quality standards.

Act as the primary point of contact for baseline-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 8 years of prior engineering experience.

Experience in Jira and related agile project management tools.

Experience in configuration management tools and practices.

Experience with LBTS environments, system testing, and field deployment processes.

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.

Experience with radar systems or other mission-critical software applications.

Experience working with SPY-6 radar systems or similar defense programs.

Knowledge of DoD software development lifecycle and documentation standards.

Certifications in Agile, Scrum, or Configuration Management.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
