Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and client‑facing Functional Architect with deep subject‑matter expertise in Oracle Subscription Management Cloud. The ideal candidate will be a key contributor in our client engagements, responsible for leading discovery workshops, analyzing business requirements, and designing robust and scalable solutions that leverage the full capabilities of Oracle Subscription Management. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, strategic thinking, and exceptional interpersonal skills to serve as a trusted advisor to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Requirements Analysis: Lead client workshops and interviews to gather and analyze business requirements related to subscription lifecycle management, including product catalogs, pricing, billing, and renewal processes.

Solution Design & Configuration: Translate business requirements into a functional design document. Architect and configure the Oracle Subscription Management Cloud application to meet client needs, ensuring best practices are followed.

Advisory & Strategy: Act as a subject‑matter expert (SME) and primary point of contact for clients, providing guidance on best‑in‑class subscription business models and how to optimize their use of the Oracle Cloud platform.

Implementation Leadership: Guide the technical team in the development of customizations, integrations, and data migration strategies. Lead system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go‑live activities.

Sales & Presales Support: Assist in presales activities, including the preparation of proposals, statements of work, and product demonstrations for prospective clients.

Mentorship: Mentor and provide guidance to junior functional consultants, helping them grow their expertise in Oracle Subscription Management.

Qualifications

Experience: A minimum of 15 years of experience with Oracle applications, with at least 5 years focused on implementing and configuring Oracle Subscription Management Cloud.

Technical Knowledge: In‑depth understanding of core subscription management processes, including:

Product Catalogs and Services

Pricing and Rating Models

Billing and Invoicing

Renewals and Cancellations

Revenue Recognition

Client Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage client relationships, conduct effective workshops, and present complex information clearly and concisely.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Problem‑Solving: Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities to identify and address client challenges.

Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration.

Preferred Qualifications

Oracle Cloud implementation certifications, specifically in Subscription Management or CX Cloud.

Experience with other Oracle CX Cloud modules (e.g., Sales Cloud, CPQ).

Experience with integrations to billing and ERP systems.
