Position Responsibilities

Create and develop electrical system designs ensuring compliance with aerospace standards and regulations.

Utilize Xpedition/Mentor Graphics software to produce detailed schematics and layouts.

Conduct electrical analysis, simulations, and testing to validate designs and ensure performance specifications are met.

Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis on electrical systems.

Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet all project requirements.

Assist in project planning and scheduling, ensuring timely delivery of engineering solutions.

Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical design and analysis.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and quality.

Basic Qualifications (Required)

Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

7+ years of experience in electrical design and analysis, preferably in optical or aerospace systems.

Experience with digital circuit design and Xpedition (Mentor Graphics).

Preferred Qualifications (Desired)

10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Cadence experience.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (e.g., MIL, IEEE, IPC).
