Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer (Lead or Senior) .
As a lead or senior engineer, you will design, analyze, and test electrical systems for aerospace projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
Position Responsibilities
Create and develop electrical system designs that meet aerospace standards and regulations.
Utilize Mentor Graphics Xpedition software to produce detailed schematics and layouts.
Conduct electrical analysis, simulations, and testing to validate designs and meet performance specifications.
Perform troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis on electrical systems.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure all project requirements are met.
Assist in project planning and scheduling to deliver engineering solutions on time.
Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical design and analysis.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and quality.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
Experience with digital circuit design and Mentor Graphics Xpedition software.
7+ years of experience in electrical design and analysis, preferably in optical or aerospace systems.
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Cadence experience.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (e.g., MIL, IEEE, IPC).
