Role Description Stratford is seeking a full‑time Structural Engineer located in New York, NY. This position will involve working alongside our structural engineers to perform calculations and analyses, conducting structural inspections and site surveys, CAD drafting, and communicating directly with clients. Only United States citizens will be considered for this position.
Responsibilities
Developing structural construction documents for commercial, institutional and residential buildings with various structural designs consisting of steel, cold‑formed steel, concrete, timber and masonry.
Drawing structural framing plans, details, elevations, and sections using 2D CAD software, such as AutoCAD.
Using 3‑D modeling software, such as Revit, to create 3D structural models to collaborate with architects and mechanical engineers.
Using knowledge of structural design and analysis, applicable material and building codes, and experience with structural analysis software.
Qualifications
Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
2-7 years of experience in structural design, including working with steel, concrete, masonry, and timber structures.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
Only United States citizens will be considered. Visa sponsorship is not available, and applicants will not be considered.
Salary Range Expected base salary ranges from $80,000 - $150,000 per year, including bonuses (based on experience).
