Controls Engineer
An exciting opportunity to join a growing automation and engineering team focused on designing and implementing fully automated, turnkey production systems. This is a hands‑on role developing PLC and robotic control systems for complex, multi‑cell automation environments.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement fully automated production systems
Program and integrate industrial robots and vision systems
Develop PLC code using Allen‑Bradley Studio 5000 and Siemens TIA Portal
Commission, validate, and support automation projects on‑site
Utilize AI tools for code development, data handling, and system optimization
Collaborate on the design and integration of multi‑cell systems focused on motor winding applications
Manage multiple automation projects simultaneously while meeting timelines and quality standards
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, or related Engineering field
Minimum 4 years of experience with PLC programming (Allen‑Bradley and Siemens)
Strong experience with factory automation, servo systems, and robotic integration
Experience configuring and tuning VFDs, servos, and motion control components
Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics systems
Ability to write, modify, and optimize PLC, HMI, and robotic code for new and existing equipment
Experience implementing and troubleshooting machine vision systems
Willingness to travel 10–30% for installations, commissioning, and support
Must successfully complete a background check and drug screen
U.S. citizenship required
Preferred Background & Skills
Experience with robotic systems such as Fanuc, ABB, or KUKA
Familiarity with PC‑based control systems and industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Profinet)
Exposure to data acquisition, SCADA, or MES systems
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
Experience supporting machine installations and validations in manufacturing environments
