Job Summary & Responsibilities Effectively assist physicians in performing a variety of highly specialized cardiovascular procedures including, but not limited to, diagnostic and interventional catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, intra‑aortic balloon pump operation (IABP), and electrophysiology studies.
Qualified external applicants with at least six months of direct RCIS experience are eligible for a $7,500 sign‑on bonus! Depending on your location, you may be eligible for up to $8,000 in relocation assistance.
Job Requirements
Experience in invasive cardiovascular technology, preferred
Cardiac diagnostic/interventional procedural experience, preferred
High School Diploma/GED, required
A graduate of a diploma, associate or baccalaureate academic program in health science or graduate of a programmatically accredited program in invasive cardiovascular technology, required.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required
Must obtain within 18 months: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through CCI; OR Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES); OR ARRT with post‑primary certification of Cardiac‑Interventional Radiography through ARRT required
Colorado Surgical Assistant License or Surgical Technologist Certification upon hire unless performing SA duties within the scope of another active Colorado license, certification, or registration, required.
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) upon hire or within 6 months of hire
Physical Requirements Medium Work – (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
