The position is a foundational leadership role responsible for implementing business strategy across our Purina Animal Nutrition/Omnium Sites. The candidate will partner with plant leadership, drive change, and shape a positive employee experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Partner with Talent Acquisition to drive recruiting strategy, attract and retain talent, and achieve diversity and inclusion goals. Integrate with Operations Leadership on selection processes, interview, assess candidates, and recommend finalists. Serve site leadership by implementing corporate programs related to performance management, talent planning, and career development. Support learning and development strategy: analyze needs, deliver training, ensure compliance, secure corporate training resources, and analyze results. Initiate a positive employee culture through effective communication, collaboration with leaders and hourly employees. Coach leaders on employee engagement and resolve employee relations issues. Partner on Labor Laws (Meal & Rest Breaks, Time Keeping Standards, Mandatory Training) and guide Plant Leaders. Respond to employee concerns by collaborating with Employee & Labor Relations, investigate issues, and provide site leadership actions toward resolution and policy compliance. Required Experience & Education

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field AND 2+ years Human Resource Generalist experience in manufacturing/production OR High School Diploma/GED AND 5+ years Human Resources Generalist experience in manufacturing/production (union/non-union). Proven business acumen; understand business drivers, connect with business, credible functional expert. Knowledge base of Federal and State Labor Laws. Experience engaging employees of all levels through operations line floor walks. Your Skillset To Succeed

Build authentic personal relationships of trust as a dependable partner. Strong communication skills (small and large groups), influence, lead, and drive change in manufacturing/production environment. Collaborate effectively with HR resource teams to achieve plant objectives. Strong verbal, written, presentation, facilitation skills; intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Flexible to grow in role and support additional sites as business needs evolve. Preferred Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Employee/Labor Relations, or related field. 5 years’ experience in multi‑site manufacturing/production operation. Human Resources certification (SPHR, PHR) preferred. Familiarity with payroll and Workday (ERP) systems. Project management experience applicable to Human Resources and cross‑functional initiatives. Hours & Salary

Traditional Monday–Friday shift with flexible schedule. Ability to travel
