IT Manager – Enterprise Content Management Position: IT Manager – Enterprise Content Management Location: Gainesville, FL Salary: $110,000 - $130,000

Job Description UF Information Technology (UFIT) enables teaching, learning, research, and service on campus and across the region with state-of-the-art enterprise IT systems. Applications, Development, and Integrations (ADI) maintains and operates the software that powers UF’s enterprise-wide computer systems. This senior-level position manages the development and support of enterprise content management (ECM) solutions for 16 colleges and multiple administrative areas across campus and the state utilizing the Hyland OnBase platform – potentially impacting 70,000+ customers daily.

Key Responsibilities

Team Management: Lead and inspire direct reports and coworkers, provide feedback, manage project portfolio, act as business liaison, develop and negotiate contractual agreements.

Solution Design: Guide team members and stakeholders in requirements elicitation and design, lead scope definition, provide estimates, maintain technical documentation, recommend new solutions.

Training & Standardization: Train and mentor the ECM team, enforce coding standards, security, policies, procedures, stay current with IT industry best practices.

System Administration and Maintenance: Oversee administration, configuration, security, maintenance of the OnBase CMS, lead remediation of vulnerabilities, develop best practices, ensure platform performance monitoring, evaluate product upgrades.

Project Management: Serve project manager for most ECM development projects, plan communications, coordinate efforts, oversee testing, quality assurance, deployment.

Customer Support: Oversee troubleshooting, document, and resolve highly complex issues and incidents, ensure high-level customer service.

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree and two years of relevant experience; or a bachelor’s degree and four years of relevant experience.

Hyland certified in OnBase System Administration, Workflow Administration, and WorkView Administration (preferred).

6+ years of experience in OnBase application development and administration, complex enterprise-level applications, IT management.

4+ years of experience in software development, designing, developing, and supporting enterprise business applications in higher education.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to produce clear contractual, technical, end-user documentation.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Hyland OnBase Unity forms, workflow, WorkView, Unity scripts, REST API, real-time and batch integrations.

Management of large IT projects, leading development teams, coordinating resources, strong stakeholder relationships.
