On Premise Channel Manager - Central Texas

The On‑Premise Channel Manager will execute company on‑premise strategic initiatives in the greater Austin/Central TX area. The role involves managing field-level activities, evaluating and implementing brand strategies, and leading local distributor sales teams. How You Will Spend Your Time
Support distributor management on a day‑to‑day basis, ensuring adherence to brand policies and distribution objectives. Train distributor sales teams, observe competitive market activity, and evaluate distributor execution. Report to the District Manager and coordinate with local distributor leadership. Maintain a list of key on‑premise accounts and ensure regular call frequency. Present and leverage brand products to increase volume and help distributors attain goals. Conduct regular planning and review meetings with distributor contacts covering depletions, goals, accounts sold, and PODs. Be visible at the distributor office, meeting with sales reps and management to reinforce brand presence. Align with local events and execute national initiatives in the local market. Act as the contact for distributor sales teams to ensure they are informed of local and national objectives and programs. Execute product seminars at accounts and with the distributor sales teams. Provide National Account Mandate compliance updates as required. Stay informed of customer and consumer trends. Maintain a calendar of activities and promotions, ensuring distributor and third‑party agencies have successful communications. Provide monthly market activity reports to supervisor, including objectives, accomplishments, competitive activity, and special projects. Provide market and competitive brand updates to supervisor, including timely communication of changing field conditions that may affect volumes and staffing changes at distributor and competitors. Review program and execution updates with distributor management. Provide feedback on the effectiveness of marketing and sales initiatives, including programs, POS, advertising, etc. Assist on special projects such as verifying pricing and/or distribution at on/off‑premise accounts and National Account mandate verification. Occasional tasks or requests may be devoted to the off‑premise segment, pending guidance from the District Manager. Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related discipline. Minimum five (5) years’ work‑related experience in the distilled spirits supplier industry. Analytical and organizational skills. Sales and marketing knowledge of principles and methods for promoting, demonstrating, and selling products or services. Good managerial and effective presentation skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Proficient using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ProDriver reporting system. Valid driver’s license. Valued But Not Required Skills And Experience
Emphasis in management and/or marketing. Advanced computer proficiency. Physical Requirements
