What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Manage a portfolio of high-level corporate donors to achieve annual revenue targets
Hire, train, and evaluate staff and volunteers to ensure fundraising success
Develop and implement growth plans for corporate giving, focusing on $5,000+ donations
Cultivate relationships with major donors and serve as their primary liaison
Collaborate with national headquarters to maximize fundraising opportunities
What is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of 7 years of sales/fundraising experience or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of management experience required
Proven track record in increasing philanthropic revenue from diverse constituencies
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Must reside in metro St. Louis and be willing to travel frequently within the region
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Advanced degree highly desirable
Experience with fundraising database systems such as Raiser’s Edge or Salesforce
Knowledge of best practices in fundraising and development
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
