Position Overview The Store Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The General Manager works with leadership to set the restaurant’s goals and creates a plan to achieve them. To meet these goals, the General Manager leads a team of Department Managers, supports them in setting goals, monitors progress, and provides coaching and direction to improve their departments, thereby improving the restaurant as a whole. The General Manager may also be responsible for hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers to ensure a strong future team.
Responsibilities
Oversee the profitable operation of the restaurant and ensure adherence to quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
Partner with leadership to set goals and develop strategies to achieve them.
Lead Department Managers by setting individual goals, tracking progress, and providing coaching.
Hire, train, and develop Department and Shift Managers.
Drive continuous improvements across departments to enhance overall performance.
Qualifications
Previous General Manager experience running high-volume locations.
Background in quick-service restaurants, hospitality, or retail is strongly desired.
Legal eligibility to work in the United States and be at least 18 years old.
