Senior Salesforce Technology Specialist – Atlanta, GA (Remote, local preference)
As a strategic senior role, you will manage the full Salesforce lifecycle, from architecture and platform administration to custom development and integration. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to design and implement solutions that drive enterprise efficiency and compliance, especially within government cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and maintain the Salesforce platform, including user setup, profiles, roles, permission sets, security sharing, and integration management.
Design, develop, and deploy custom objects, flows, validation rules, approval processes, and Lightning Web Components.
Lead platform upgrades, data imports/exports, deduplication, and integration projects (REST/SOAP, Apex, LWC/Aura).
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design architecture solutions, and implement enhancements that deliver business value.
Manage CI/CD deployment pipelines (Salesforce DX, Jenkins, Copado, Gearset) and version control strategies.
Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and governance for Salesforce initiatives, ensuring security, scalability, and performance standards.
Document configurations, design decisions, and change management artifacts, and produce training materials.
Stay current on Salesforce releases, best practices, and industry trends, continuously improving platform capabilities.
Candidate Qualifications
Extensive experience designing and implementing Salesforce applications, preferably for government clients.
Deep knowledge of Salesforce architecture, integrations, and best practices, with proven ability to meet cybersecurity and compliance requirements.
Strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer II, Architect Specialty) preferred.
