ServiceNow Senior Consultant – IT Operations Management (ITOM)
In the digital economy, upgrading outdated processes, systems and information is vital. As a ServiceNow Senior Consultant you’ll play a leading role in providing clients with the competitive edge needed to overcome complex challenges.
The opportunity You’ll lead ServiceNow Transformation teams in a rapidly growing area of the business. This client‑visible role offers opportunities to showcase your ability to motivate and develop your team, establish new client relationships, and grow consulting and leadership skills.
Your Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring the final product meets their needs.
Design and develop user interfaces that enhance user experience across mobile, web, and tablet platforms.
Write clean, maintainable code and create specifications that support business objectives.
Play a key role in delivering innovative ServiceNow solutions, including design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
Travel as needed to meet with clients and engage stakeholders.
Skills and Attributes for Success
Act as a workstream lead for ServiceNow ITOM/CMDB projects, overseeing design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
Manage and mentor a multi‑disciplinary team of 3‑5 resources, including offshore consultants.
Provide industry‑leading practice expertise for ServiceNow ITOM/CMDB implementations.
Analyze organization capabilities and recommend process and technology transformations.
Advise on CMDB and ITOM connectivity to ITSM processes.
Facilitate requirements workshops and design sessions with functional teams.
Experience with waterfall and agile delivery models, including planning, status reporting, and risk management.
Create high‑quality deliverables and project artifacts.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline.
2–4 years of relevant ServiceNow ITOM/CMDB project experience.
ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD).
Minimum two of the following: Data Foundations, Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping implementation specialist certifications.
3+ years of Big 4 or equivalent consulting experience.
Excellent communication, adaptability, problem‑solving, teamwork, relationship building, and organizational skills.
Experience leading teams and supervising others.
Valid U.S. driver’s license.
Ability to travel as required.
Preferred
ServiceNow ITSM, HAM, or SAM implementation specialist certifications.
Experience with ServiceNow AI solutions (Now Assist, Agentic, AI Control Tower).
Performance analytics and reporting experience.
