Base Pay Range $100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

The Paralegal will support attorneys in the Labor & Employment Litigation practice by performing substantive paralegal work and managing key litigation tasks. This role requires strong analytical ability, excellent organizational skills, and the capacity to handle significant responsibility with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct legal research and factual investigation, including analyzing laws, court decisions, and regulatory guidance to assist attorneys in developing legal strategy.

Draft, format, and finalize legal documents such as pleadings, motions, responses, declarations, subpoenas, and production logs for use by attorneys.

Manage case files and matter workflow: docket deadlines, calendar hearings/depositions, maintain electronic and physical document systems, and ensure compliance with state and federal court rules.

Assist with trial, mediation, deposition and hearing preparation including coordinating with witnesses/experts, organizing exhibits, and supporting attorneys on-site.

Track and enter billing and time data accurately and assist with vendor/IT and document‑management system coordination.

Qualifications

Paralegal certification from an accredited program or Bachelor's degree preferred.

Typically 4+ to 6+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in labor & employment litigation.

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and legal research tools (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw); experience with document-management, e‑filing, or litigation support systems is a plus.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

Professional demeanor, high level of integrity, and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
