Executive Meeting Manager We are seeking a dynamic Executive Meeting Manager to drive exceptional event experiences at one of the largest and most versatile properties near LAX. Hilton LAX offers over 55,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space, including two grand ballrooms and 40+ breakout rooms.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with clients, customize event solutions, and ensure every detail exceeds expectations.

Solicit, negotiate, and generate contracted revenues from potential clients to achieve quarterly revenue goals.

Employ revenue management techniques to present proposals and prepare Requests for Proposals.

Prospect for new business using a wide variety of methods including phone calls, outside sales calls, community functions, internet prospecting, supplier partnerships, trade journals, etc.

Work with the sales team to convert leads into successful bookings, ensuring maximum revenue generation.

Prepare and distribute event contracts, ensuring all details and terms are clearly defined.

Serve as the main point of contact for all clients booking meetings and corporate events with Food/Beverage.

Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, expectations, and objectives, and provide customized solutions.

Oversee the execution of all meetings and events with Food/Beverage from pre-arrival through post-event follow-up.

Coordinate with internal departments, including catering, housekeeping and front desk to ensure all client specifications are met.

Maintain constant communication with clients before, during, and after events to ensure satisfaction and address any last-minute changes or issues.

Proactively troubleshoot and resolve any concerns related to event logistics, service, or equipment.

Ensure accurate and timely billing for all meetings and events.

Maintain organized records of client communications, event details, and contracts.

Develop detailed event itineraries and timelines to ensure smooth operations for each meeting or event.

Gather client feedback to assess the success of events and identify areas for improvement.

Follow up with clients after events to ensure their satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of two (2) years of Sales or Event Management experience.

Strong sales, organizational, and planning skills.

Proven track record in a similar role.

Highly professional presentations and oral and written communication skills.

Ability to read and write in English to fully comprehend guest requests and related documentation.

Ability to manage time and resources effectively and productively.

Preferred qualifications

Previous experience in full-service hotels or upscale restaurants and event venues with a high volume of events.

Proficiency in Delphi FDC.
