Position Summary The Marketing Website Manager will oversee the management, optimization, and user experience of the Augustine Institute websites. This role is pivotal in shaping the digital presence of the organization, focusing on website design, content strategy, SEO, and operational excellence to deliver seamless, engaging, and user‑centric online experiences that align with the organization’s mission and goals.

Responsibilities

Website Management: Oversee day‑to‑day website operations, including content updates, functionality testing, layout design, and performance monitoring.

Content Publishing: Manage the creation, publishing, and optimization of website content, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.

UX/UI Optimization: Enhance the user experience and interface design, ensuring websites are intuitive, engaging, and accessible.

SEO Strategy: Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, traffic, and engagement metrics.

Web Design and Development: Collaborate with designers and IT staff to implement new features, optimize layout, and troubleshoot technical issues.

Technical Management: Manage website metadata, tracking codes, and other technical elements to support marketing campaigns, performance tracking, and other marketing technologies.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, design, IT, and other teams to ensure website efforts align with overall business and campaign goals.

Compliance and Security: Ensure websites meet compliance standards, accessibility guidelines, and security protocols.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or experience equivalent.

3+ years of marketing experience.

Proven experience managing websites, with expertise in platforms like Webflow, WordPress, or similar.

Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and the technical implementation of web analytics and tag management tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager) is strongly desired.

Experience with structured data through RDFa, Microdata and/or JSON‑LD is a plus.

Experience with UX/UI principles and their application to web design.

Exceptional problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams and present insights to stakeholders.

Experience operating in a Scrum Agile environment is a plus.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with proven success in copywriting and an eye for great design.

Highly organized and process‑driven, with excellent project management skills.

Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

An understanding of the Catholic Church, general knowledge of diocesan organization and operations, and deep empathy for Catholic users of Augustine Institute products and services.

Experience working with Windows operating systems and MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Strong interpersonal communications skills including facilitation and presentation skills.

Exceptional time management skills and ability to define and achieve outcomes that meet or exceed the organization’s goals.

Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, typing and use of office equipment, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will typically work in a climate‑controlled office setting.
