Graduate Medical Education-GME Program Coordinator The Residency Program Coordinator, under the supervision of the Program Directors, directs the daily operation of the residency program office. The Coordinator oversees the administrative functions of the residency program and assists with planning, preparation and execution of activities related to maintaining program education, accreditation, recruitment, resident well‑being, and problem‑solving. The position is a critical resource for Program Directors, residents, and other staff, serving as a liaison with faculty, specialty departments, outside institutions, the GME Office, and the Medical Staff Office. The Coordinator also leads the Assistant Program Coordinator and other administrative staff performing residency functions.

Responsibilities

Direct daily operations of the residency program office.

Oversee all administrative functions of the residency program.

Assist with planning, preparation, and execution of educational and administrative activities.

Ensure compliance with Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) / American Osteopathic Association (AOA) accreditation requirements.

Coordinate residency recruitment and resident well‑being initiatives.

Serve as liaison among faculty, specialty departments, outside institutions, the GME Office, and the Medical Staff Office.

Lead the Assistant Program Coordinator and any other administrative staff performing residency functions.

Minimum Requirements

Associate’s Degree required or higher.

C‑TAGME certification preferred.

3–7 years of related experience.
