The Maintenance Manager is a key leader in the regulated manufacturing industry, responsible for supervising and directing all activities related to the maintenance of production equipment, infrastructure, and utilities. This professional ensures that all systems operate at maximum efficiency by implementing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, as well as continuous improvement programs. Their expertise in process automation and performance metrics management is essential to optimizing productivity and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Responsibilities
Direct and supervise maintenance activities for manufacturing and support equipment, as well as the plant and its surroundings. Implement and manage Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and reliability programs. Develop and apply preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to maximize equipment availability. Lead process automation projects that contribute to increased productivity. Use Lean Manufacturing and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) tools to improve processes. Establish metrics based on TPM, OEE, and reliability to evaluate maintenance performance. Manage computer-assisted maintenance management programs (CMMS) to optimize task planning and execution. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering. Knowledge of USDA and OSHA regulations, as well as GMPs in the food industry. Fluency in English and Spanish, both oral and written. Minimum 5 years of experience in the regulated manufacturing industry in management or supervisory roles. Experience in managing TPM, OEE, reliability, and preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Knowledge of process automation and Lean Manufacturing tools. Experience in developing metrics based on TPM, OEE, and reliability. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), Visio, and AutoCAD. Availability to work weekends, overtime, holidays, and rotating shifts, as well as to travel domestically and internationally.
