Overview
Lead Program Manager for development and construction of a Liquid Natural Gas Facility (LNG). This position is responsible for managing the development, construction and transition to operation of the LNG facility using the client Program and Project Management methodology and processes. This role leads the project team and coordinates with Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractor, Owner’s Engineer (OE), Engineer of Record (EOR), and other project stakeholders. Must have prior experience leading LNG projects. Responsibilities
Lead the project team and manage development, construction and transition to operation of the LNG facility. Apply client project management methodologies and PMI standards to achieve scope, schedule, and cost objectives while effectively managing risks. Support program and project governance reviews. Determine project business needs and deliverables; establish and manage costs, resources, performance measurements, timeline, and deliverables required to complete the project. Perform cost/benefit analyses where required and assess feasibility. Determine appropriate resources and staffing skillsets; identify strategies to reduce overall project risk. Manage applicable project contracts in conjunction with sourcing personnel; prepare RFPs, evaluate responses, participate in negotiations, interpret contract language, and manage finances. Ensure work is completed to specifications and on schedule per contract. Develop and execute communication and stakeholder management plans, including regular project status reports, risks, and progress for stakeholders in agreed formats and frequencies. Ensure training needs are met for project team members and users; oversee post-project training and transition activities. Apply organizational change management within the project management context. Demonstrate effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; proficient use of computer software (email, word processing, spreadsheets, project management). Work effectively in a diverse environment. Operate under the supervision of a manager or director. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in project management, engineering, or related area Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification 15 years of professional experience in program or project management with multiple large projects Demonstrated experience managing LNG projects Seniority and Employment Details
