Your Mission As a Production Scheduling Specialist at GKN Automotive, your mission is pivotal. You will orchestrate the synchronization of production with material flow, ensuring the heart of our operations beats smoothly. With your hands-on expertise, you'll manage production schedules directly, ensuring materials align perfectly with production capabilities and deadlines are met with precision. Your role is to enhance collaboration with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics experts to thrive in a dynamic environment. We are in search of seasoned professionals adept in direct production scheduling. If your experience speaks volumes about crafting and adjusting production timelines in response to demand shifts, you belong with us. Your Expertise A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related disciplines Over 2 years of dedicated experience in production scheduling within manufacturing settings Proficiency in utilizing ERP systems to handle complex planning parameters and timelines Exceptional Excel capabilities paired with data-driven analysis proficiency Fluent in English to coordinate seamlessly on a global scale Desirable Skills Mastery of SAP or ERP systems for inventory and planning control Strong analytical skills, with a knack for data utilization in strategic decisions Background in lean manufacturing and logistics Skilled communicator, adept at cross-department collaboration Insight into automotive supply chain logistics Your Impact By managing intricate production schedules, adjusting to needs, monitoring KPIs, and working closely with suppliers, you will ensure GKN Automotive remains a leader in efficiency and performance.
