As part of the produce team, you’ll help ensure availability, cleanliness, and freshness of fruits and vegetables. You’ll play a front-line role in customer service and contribute to a positive member shopping experience. Responsibilities
Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products; collaborate with cross-functional teams; assist with tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively; adapt to business needs to work in other areas; track goods; maintain in-stock levels; and help control shrinkage. Be an Expert: Understand quality processes and specifications for produce; prepare products according to standards; maintain product safety and sanitation; adhere to laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality. Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; use handheld technology to support decisions on production, training, and product quality; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. Be an Owner: Drive department performance; stock and rotate products using inventory techniques; ensure quality and date control; minimize waste; assist customers per company policies. Be a Talent Ambassador: Model high-quality service and energy; advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member experience in produce areas. Comply with policies and standards: Follow ethics, Open Door Policy, and company practices in daily work. Complete work assignments: Use policies and data; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; set priorities and deadlines; communicate progress; identify improvements and adapt to change.
