Responsibilities
Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the products; collaborate with cross functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively and develop interpersonal skills for customer service; be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage in a timely manner.
Be an Expert: Understand processes and specifications related to quality of various types of produce merchandise; prepare products according to established standards; maintain product safety and follow sanitation guidelines; adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality.
Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
Be an Owner: Drive area performance; use digital tools; stock and rotate department products; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; assist customers according to company policies and procedures.
Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member's experience and modeling high quality service and products; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans and applying the Open Door Policy in executing business processes.
Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identify priorities and deadlines; communicate progress and information; address improvement opportunities and adapt to change and feedback.

Be an Owner: Drive department performance; inventory management to stock and rotate products; ensure quality and date control; minimize waste; support customers per policy.
Be a Talent Ambassador: Model high-quality service and products; demonstrate energy and commitment to the work.
