Military Flight Controls Division
(MFCD) supports aircraft worldwide and provides primary and secondary flight control systems for military and commercial applications. Position Summary With limited guidance in a team environment, responsible for performing a variety of product support duties of a complex nature by following and developing procedures and processes in two or more of the following functions: raw stock, parts identification, shipping, receiving, stockroom, stock handling, clean operations, etc.
Essential Functions
RAW STOCK
Receive incoming raw stock and verify material against documentation for identification and quantity accuracy.
Load and unload trucks and move raw material to the proper location.
Identify and code raw material and operate saw to cut stock to dimensional specifications.
Issue jobs per schedule and update shop floor and MRP system.
Maintain minimum/maximum raw stock requirements; coordinate storage, handling, receiving and inventory procedures.
Requisition raw material per work order requirements; may perform advanced functional AMAPS/MRP commands.
PARTS IDENTIFICATION
Identify parts using proper methods and equipment indicated by the traveller and/or blueprint.
Lay out exact dimensions and locations on parts for identification markings.
Set up and minor repair of equipment; report critical shortages; review documents to ensure instructions are appropriate.
Recommend identification method changes where appropriate; maintain accurate serialized records; maintain equipment and supplies needed.
SHIPPING
Prepare parts/materials for shipment, including paperwork and shipping records.
Package per specifications and prepare labels, forms and shipping records; interpret shipping instructions per documents or standards.
Prepare air bills, bills of lading and carrier forms; coordinate carrier dispatch and rates; select most economical/expeditious method when required.
Coordinate shipping schedule to meet customer commitments and plan for future shipments; prepare forms and reports.
RECEIVING
Receive shipments at the receiving dock and forward materials to the appropriate team.
Weigh or count incoming/outbound parts; perform data input and verify documents for completeness and accuracy.
Troubleshoot and coordinate between departments as needed and monitor outside vendor commitments.
STOCKROOM
Receive material, identify parts by type or part number, and store in the proper location.
Fill orders from stock and perform cycle inventory counts; maintain records using computer systems.
If applicable, execute advanced Automated Storage & Retrieval System (ASRS) functions and prioritize workload; basic equipment maintenance may be required.
CLEAN OPERATIONS
Clean parts and equipment using approved methods; remove oil/contaminants; maintain cleaning solutions and work area safety.
Oil parts to prevent rust; follow safety rules and maintain orderly work areas.
Perform other related responsibilities as needed. The essential functions are examples; the company reserves the right to modify work assignments and provide reasonable accommodations.
Job Requirements
Three years of related product support experience or demonstrated ability to perform described responsibilities.
Thorough knowledge of policies, procedures and systems in several functional areas and ability to troubleshoot problems.
May be required to operate moving equipment and saw equipment and meet OSHA safety qualifications.
Forklift operator certification may be required.
Proficient knowledge of computer terminal operations; manual dexterity; basic math; ability to read and interpret forms and specifications.
May be required to lift up to 50 pounds; effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication; ability to work with others as a team.

Competitive Compensation
Pay Range: $26.65/hour to $40.25/hour
