Position Summary The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of industrial mechanical projects. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining quality and safety standards. The Project Manager coordinates with subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and executive management to optimize resource allocation, mitigate risks, and ensure seamless communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, ensuring alignment with project specifications and requirements.

Budget & Cost Management: Establish and monitor project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency.

Scheduling & Coordination: Maintain project timelines, coordinating effectively with subcontractors and suppliers.

Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.

Quality Control & Safety Compliance: Ensure projects adhere to industry standards and OSHA regulations.

Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, engineers, and executive management.

Resource Allocation: Manage workforce, equipment, and materials for optimal efficiency.

Contract Management: Oversee project contracts, change orders, and documentation.

Issue Resolution: Address project challenges promptly to prevent delays.

Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor KPIs and generate reports for management.

Continuous Improvement: Implement lessons learned for process enhancement in future projects.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Certifications: OSHA 30 certification required; PMP certification is a plus.

Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in project management within industrial mechanical construction.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera P6), budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.

Competencies: Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills; attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, and navigate construction sites for extended periods.

Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally.

Travel Required: Frequent travel between project sites with occasional overnight stays.
