Job Title Low Voltage Project Manager
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Recruit, hire, train, manage, supervise, promote, discipline and discharge all security systems project related staff.
Effectively manage human resources issues per Company policies and procedures.
Provide guidance and mentoring to meet customer and Company goals and objectives.
Manage workload distribution and monitor customer delivery and job installation progress.
Plan for, manage, monitor and maintain project profitability to achieve Company goals.
Review all job cost postings for accuracy and completeness, including invoicing, customer collections and financial reporting.
Manage quality and safety on customer work.
Participate in and/or facilitate the bid process.
Act as the Company liaison for interface with customer representative(s).
Create, develop and implement account process improvements.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Physical and Mental Requirements :
Self-motivated, professional, and able to lead others to implement project process improvements.
Promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients and business partners.
Problem solving, critical thinking, and effective reading, writing and oral presentation skills.
Ability to interpret blueprints and project documents, including specifications, reporting and quality requirements.
Ability to travel within branch and/or regional territory as needed.
Ability to learn Company and customer project management systems.
Ability to secure and maintain a Company sponsored American Express Card.
Proficiency with trade tools listed (punch tool with 110/66 block blade, 6/8 position crimp tool, Krone/3M/BIX, butt set, volt-ohm meter, 4-pair continuity tester, 5-gang punch tool).
Education, Certification, License, and Skill Requirements :
High School diploma or GED; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Experience in customer interface (liaison between customer and the Company).
Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory or managerial experience.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in telecommunications or related technical/construction field.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and MS Project).
Must meet Company minimum driving standards.
Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to define a project, create a project scope of work, develop detailed tasks and manage to completion and customer turnover.
Minimum Years of Experience: 6+
