We’re looking for a highly motivated and results-driven
Business Development Manager
to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for executing the company's US sales strategy, driving new business growth, and fostering strong customer relationships in the New England area. This is a full-time, remote position with some in-office time required at our Dover, NH location. You will travel throughout your assigned territory, which includes Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, and New Hampshire. Pay range
Base pay range: $100,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr What You’ll Do
Develop and execute a strategic plan to exceed assigned revenue targets and key metrics within your territory. Proactively generate new business opportunities by calling on new and existing customers. Use a consultative sales approach to understand customer needs and present complete packaging solutions and services that address them. Prepare detailed proposals and coordinate with our Engineering Center on design requirements. Close new business and nurture existing customer relationships to drive continued growth. Manage new accounts through the initial start-up phase before transitioning them to an internal account manager. Maintain accurate sales activity documentation and manage your pipeline using Salesforce. Stay informed about competitors\' sales efforts and market trends. Communicate customer feedback and initiate corrective actions or change orders as needed. What We’re Looking For
Qualifications A degree in Packaging, Business, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Mechanical Engineering is preferred. Previous experience in outside sales or business development is essential. Experience in multi-material packaging solutions, supply chain, logistics, warehousing, or inventory control is a plus. Experience selling to industries such as aerospace, robotics, telecom, medical machinery, energy, and heavy industries is beneficial. Required Skills Excellent time management and organizational skills. Proficiency in Salesforce.com. Proven ability in consultative selling and technical sales. Location & Travel
This is a remote role, but you must reside within the assigned New England territory (Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire) with the ability to travel. Occasional trips to our Dover, NH office will be required.
