Business Development Representative (Full–Time, Northeast / New England USA) Ideal Candidate Locations: Philadelphia, PA, South New Jersey, North New Jersey, New York
Important: Candidate will spend up to 10-12 days traveling per month within this territory. The remaining time will be spent at the local office and / or their home office

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES The Business Development Representative engages in an outside sales role responsible for:
Increasing Sales with existing accounts
Meeting Territory Sales Goals
This position will be responsible for customer interface, building meaningful customer relationships, and increasing customer satisfaction. This position is assigned to the geographic territory of the Northeast / New England.
Growing sales within assigned territories while maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct with our customers and your fellow colleagues
Penetrating existing accounts by selling a broader range of Dover products and services
Developing and executing strategies to capture additional market share
Planning, organizing, and communicating your work schedule to effectively build a profitable territory
Building and maintaining an active sales pipeline
Working collaboratively with all departments within Dover Tubular to achieve both company and customer objectives
Ensuring timely responses to customer inquiries, issues, and handling customer dispute resolution
Participating in training, networking, and learning opportunities to foster professional and personal growth
Job responsibilities subject to change
STRATEGIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Identifying and executing on new product strategies. Taking an idea from paper, supporting it through data and developing new opportunities and strategic directions from it
Identifying opportunities to streamline, improve, or change internal processes to make the company more efficient

QUALIFICATIONS Travel required: Approximately 10-12 days per month
Successful track record of business development experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience (sales, operations, engineering, or sourcing)
Industrial distribution experience preferred (Metal Service Center, PVF, Fluid Power)
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with internal & external audiences
Ability to prioritize, balance, and handle high volume work in a fast‑paced environment
Strategic thinking with the ability to identify best practices and influence/drive change
Skilled at relationship development, customer service, & solution selling
Ability to work with minimal supervision and effectively collaborate and network
Strong business acumen including value‑add selling skills
Excellent presentation and group facilitation skills
