Provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices and lead customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business. Serve as front-line manager responsible for leadership and development of associates, delivering an outstanding client experience and achieving office growth objectives for three offices. Prior tax preparation experience is not required. Start with a flexible part-time schedule in the fall and transition to full-time from January to April, including evenings and weekends as needed. This role is in-person and not remote. Manage office staffing, operations, and logistics with support from Associate Team Leaders. Partner with the District General Manager to create and implement office-level growth plans and client growth targets, including local partnerships and community involvement. Assist DGM in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions; conduct timely performance reviews and address performance concerns in collaboration with appropriate centers. Build an engaging, cross-office team environment through training and coaching; lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates. Create associate work schedules, ensure accurate timekeeping, and manage labor across all offices; travel between offices as required. Prepare tax returns as needed, following successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment. Your expertise

People management experience with a track record of growing and developing associates. Aptitude for executing growth plans and fostering a growth-oriented culture. Strong decision-making, judgment, and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset. Computer proficiency (MS Office). Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or high school diploma with equivalent experience. Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns). Why work for us

The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. Individual pay decisions depend on factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and location. Eligible employees may participate in incentive plans and benefit programs. Pay Range:

$15.00 - $40.00 per hour.
