Senior Project Manager
to join our team and manage a portfolio of large, complex, and high-value transmission and substation projects from concept to completion. What You’ll Do
Project Planning & Execution:
Scope development, estimating, scheduling, procurement, contract management, and commissioning. Regulatory & Community Engagement:
Siting, environmental compliance, permitting, land acquisition, and public input processes. Stakeholder Collaboration:
Build and manage relationships with Member Systems, regulators, community leaders, contractors, consultants, and vendors. Process Improvement & Leadership:
Drive process improvement initiatives across project teams; participate in developing and implementing business strategies for managing capital projects; mentor and train junior project staff including Associate Project Managers and Project Managers. Governance & Compliance:
Ensure all projects follow approved methodologies and comply with corporate policies, regulatory standards, and NERC CIP requirements. What You Bring
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or Construction Management. Experience: Senior PM:
10+ years in electric utility transmission projects, including facility siting, environmental and regulatory compliance, land acquisition, design, construction, and commissioning. Equivalent Experience Path:
15+ years total industry experience, with at least 10 years in transmission-specific work and 5 years in direct project management. Licenses & Certifications: Registered (or immediately eligible for registration) as a
PMP
or
Professional Engineer (PE)
in the State of Georgia. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office,
Primavera P6 , and
Microsoft Project . Ability to thrive in a digital and collaborative work environment. Other Requirements: Must be able to pass a
NERC CIP personnel risk assessment . Seniority
