Be a Team Member: Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborates with cross-functional teams; educates other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicates effectively with the team; and adapts to the needs of the business. Be an Expert: Prepares food according to item specifications; plans for future and mass productions; adheres to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment; understands product and layout execution. Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; uses handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, ordering, receiving orders, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them. Be an Owner: Drives area performance; stocks and rotates merchandise; ensures quality and date control; eliminates waste; provides member service by acknowledging members and identifying needs; assists with purchasing decisions and resolving issues. Be a Talent Ambassador: Represents the brand, inspires others to work in a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented way; helps identify roadblocks and assist in training. Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics; supports Open Door Policy in daily operations.
