Be a Team Member: Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborates with cross-functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicates effectively with team members; and remains flexible to work in other areas as needed. Be an Expert: Prepares food according to item specifications; understands and plans for future and mass productions; prepares for seasonality; adheres to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment; demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution. Be a Techie: Leverages digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; uses handheld technology to make decisions related to production, ordering merchandise, receiving club pickup orders, training, and product quality; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them. Be an Owner: Drives the performance of the area; stocks and rotates merchandise; ensures quality and date control standards; eliminates waste; provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying needs; assists members with purchasing decisions and locating merchandise; resolves member issues. Be a Talent Ambassador: Acts as a brand advocate; develops, influences and inspires others to work in a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented style; understands roadblocks and assists in training. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; applying these in executing business processes and practices.
