Position Summary: Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and staying organized? Our prepared meals and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members by following recipes and preparing our rotisserie chicken. You will wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure our members have fresh items to take home. You may juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with bakery orders. A friendly attitude can improve the shopping experience, and you’ll help families have a great meal as part of a team that offers customers more of what they love, for less.
What you will do
Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively with the team; be flexible to business needs to work in other areas.
Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications; plan future productions and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; understand product and layout execution.
Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and engage associates; use handheld technology to make decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
Be an Owner: Drive area performance; manage high exposure and expectations; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; assist customers per company policies and procedures.
Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience in the meat area; model high-quality service and products; demonstrate energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
Complies with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity; follow open-door policy; apply these in business processes and practices.
Completes work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and other partners; identify priorities and deadlines; communicate progress; seek opportunities for improvement; adapt to change and feedback.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $24.00. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in certain circumstances (e.g., schedule, facility, season or specific work performed).
