Our prepared meals and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members by following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. You will wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available. You may juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while assisting members with bakery orders. A smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. You won’t just prepare fresh food—you’ll help a family have a great meal. Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross-functional teams and educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively with team members; and be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas. Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications; plan for future productions and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; understand product and layout execution. Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. Be an Owner: Drive area performance; manage high exposure and expectations; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control standards; minimize waste; guide peers and respond to customer needs in accordance with company policies. Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member experience in the meat area and modeling high-quality service and products; execute basics at the highest possible level of quality; show energy, commitment, and passion for the work. Compliance: Follow company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; apply the Open Door Policy in daily work and business processes. Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; identify priorities and deadlines; communicate progress and information; seek opportunities for improvement and adapt to change and feedback.
