Joining us as a
Multi-Unit Team Leader , you’ll provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices. You’ll lead customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business. Prior tax preparation experience is not required.
Note: This role is not remote and will require in-person work. You will start a flexible part-time schedule in the fall and transition to full-time January through April, including evening and weekend hours as needed.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices, guiding customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business.
Serve as the front-line manager responsible for leadership and development of associates, delivering an outstanding client experience, and achieving all office-related growth objectives for three tax offices.
Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates.
Create associate work schedules across all offices and ensure accurate timekeeping and labor management for associates in all offices.
Travel between offices as required.
Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment.
Assist in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office associate positions and support performance management efforts as needed.
Qualifications
People management experience with the ability to grow and develop associates.
Aptitude for executing growth plans and fostering a growth-oriented culture.
Strong decision-making and judgment skills; able to perform in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset.
Computer proficiency with MS Office.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or a high school diploma with equivalent experience.
Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns).
