Position Overview The Resident Engagement Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for residents in our apartment community. The role is responsible for addressing resident concerns, facilitating communication between residents and management, and creating a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere by hosting engaging resident events. The ideal candidate is personable, proactive, and committed to enhancing the resident experience.

Key Responsibilities

Respond promptly and professionally to resident inquiries and concerns, providing solutions or directing them to the appropriate resources.

Plan, organize, and execute resident events and activities that foster community spirit and social interaction.

Serve as a liaison between residents and property management, ensuring clear and timely information flow about community updates and policies.

Address and resolve resident issues, complaints, and emergencies with empathy and efficiency.

Document and track property complaints via internal systems.

Provide general concierge services, including greeting residents and guests, assisting with package deliveries, and other general duties.

Create and distribute a monthly resident newsletter including community updates, upcoming events, resident highlights, maintenance schedules, and other relevant announcements.

Coordinate event calendars, logistics, and promotion across channels.

Maintain accurate records of resident interactions, event attendance, and feedback; prepare reports for management.

Assist with leasing and property tours as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or degree in hospitality, communications, or related field preferred.

Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or property management strongly preferred.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Proficient with Microsoft Office and property management software.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate resident events.

Positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional service.

Working Conditions

Position based at the apartment community site.

May require lifting event materials or packages up to 25 lbs.

Work schedule includes a mix of weekdays, evenings, and occasional weekends.
