Be a Team Member: Maintains up-to date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborates with cross functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicates effectively with team members; and is flexible to work in other areas as needed. Be an Expert: Prepares food according to item specifications; plans for future productions and mass productions; prepares for seasonality; adheres to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment; demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution. Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; utilizes handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, ordering merchandise, receiving club pick up orders, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them. Be an Owner: Drives the performance of the area; stocks and rotates merchandise; ensures quality and date control standards; eliminates waste; provides member service by acknowledging member needs and assisting with purchasing decisions, payment types, locating merchandise, and resolving member issues. Be a Talent Ambassador: Acts as a brand advocate; develops, influences and inspires others to work in a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented style; understands roadblocks and assists in training others. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; uses the Open Door Policy; and applies these in executing business processes and practices. Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carries out tasks; communicates progress and information; identifies and addresses improvement opportunities; and adapts to and learns from change, difficulties, and feedback.
