Quality Inspector II
Onsite in Chandler, AZ
Quality Inspector job in Chandler, Arizona is available with Moseley Technical Services Top Aerospace / Defense company. In this job you will perform visual, mechanical, and electrical in-process inspections in manufacturing areas to improve the quality of both the product and process.
Responsibilities
Perform dimensional and electrical inspection using basic equipment and established procedures with minimum supervision
Interpret drawings and written work instructions.
Use a variety of precision measuring instruments including electrical test equipment, calipers, and micrometers.
Schedule, plan, and execute assigned or delegated tasks in an efficient manner.
Prioritize workload so production delays are minimized or eliminated.
Interface directly with customer representatives.
Attend offsite training classes to maintain certification requirements. (i.e., JSTD).
Perform or review First Article Inspection Reports as required.
Perform In-Process Surveillance Audits
Use MS Office programs (Excel, Word), Agile, and Visual.
Complete internal training for Weld Inspection, Solder Inspection, Leak Testing and Powder Bed Inspection.
Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship required due to nature of work performed
High School Degree or GED and 2-3 years of experience with In-Process Inspections, 3-6 years of previous mechanical inspection experience
Knowledge in the use of mechanical measuring tools (including calipers, and micrometer)
Ability to interpret drawings and instructions
Good written, verbal, mathematical and analytical skills
IPC 600, 610 and JStandard certification preferred
Mechanical aptitude with ability to execute record keeping practices as a major part of the duties.
Support Overtime as required or scheduled by Building FFM or Supervisor.
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
