Responsibilities:
Maintain responsibility and accountability for new part introduction/launch process.
Coordinate with customers and vendors to review product specifications and manufacturing capabilities.
Plan project specifications, costs, and equipment requirements.
Determine project timelines, procedures, and resource allocation.
Collaborate with departments to ensure efficient production methods.
Manage project personnel to ensure schedule and budget adherence.
Troubleshoot processing problems and vendor issues, providing technical advice.
Prepare status reports and adjust schedules as needed.
Update database with revisions and process changes.
Evaluate parts for continuous improvement to enhance quality and profitability.
Minimum Requirements:
BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in Automotive manufacturing.
Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing.
Experience interfacing with customers.
Proficiency in English communication skills.
Experience with JobBoss or similar MRP systems.
Strong project management skills and understanding of scheduling and on-time delivery.
Leadership experience in cross-functional teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated with problem-solving attitude.
