Tram System Maintenance Technician – Night Shift

Description In this full‑time hourly position (10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.), you will conduct inspections, perform maintenance, and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. You will also monitor system operations and quickly resolve alarm indicators to keep the tram running smoothly.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections of tram systems.
Perform minor individual repairs in the shop.
Collaborate with junior technicians on larger repair projects.
Monitor tram operations and respond to alarms promptly.
Maintain accurate work records and logs.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Previous technical experience with PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC, or similar systems.
Experience diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical systems.
Ability to physically lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
Proficient reading of blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
Ability to work in extreme heat, wind, or confined spaces.
Permanent U.S. resident or citizen.
Proficient in English.
At least 1 year of transit system maintenance & repair (desired).
Compensation $20.00‑$25.00 per hour (based on experience & certifications) plus a 15% shift differential for overnight duty.
