Role Overview
Perform technical inspections throughout the aircraft production process to ensure compliance with design, customer, and certification requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct visual, incoming, first article, and final inspections during manufacturing.
Document inspection results in SAP, SAL, FLEXNET, and related systems; prepare first article reports.
Support troubleshooting, Functional Test Procedures (FTPs), and Quality Survey requests.
Record and manage non‑conformance data in NCMS; issue quality discrepancy reports.
Audit Non‑Conformance Rework Orders and validate process adherence.
Track and maintain components during the non‑conformance process.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
3+ years of aviation quality inspection experience (mechanical/structural components).
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, drawings, inspection plans, and production processes.
Skilled in using inspection tools and length‑measuring techniques (mechanical, optical, electrical).
