As a

Team Leader , lead a customer-centric team of associates and accelerate seasonal tax business by managing a single H&R Block tax office. Serve as the front-line manager for leadership and development of tax office associates, delivering an outstanding client experience and achieving office growth objectives. Act as a knowledgeable resource on tax topics and products for associates. Lead daily activities to ensure work is completed on time, with attention to quality standards, priorities, and goals. Build an engaging team environment by training and coaching associates to meet Service Standards and recognize outstanding contributions. Lead daily team meetings, communicate essential information, and create associate work schedules with accurate timekeeping and overtime management. Prepare tax returns as required and conduct timely performance reviews, addressing issues in partnership with the Associate Relations Center. Partner with the District General Manager to create and implement office-level growth plans, including developing local partnerships and managing office community involvement. Assist in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions. Serve as the point of contact for onsite escalated client service concerns and ensure clients are scheduled properly with conflicts resolved. Qualifications

Prior experience in a customer service, shift leader, or similar role; experience supervising or managing people. 2+ years as a Tax Professional (or equivalent). Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns). Annual continuing education, and ability to meet IRS and applicable state requirements. Computer proficiency with MS Office; ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Flexible schedule and adaptability to business needs. High school diploma or equivalent (or higher). Benefits and Community
