Responsibilities
Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that building systems operate efficiently and that the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.
Perform maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical repairs to ensure that the building is properly maintained.
Clean and repair building fixtures including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters and drains. Power wash as needed.
Porter and grounds keeping work, pick up trash, blow leaves, seed community garden, clean up mailbox area, etc.
Maintain maintenance and inspection reports, attend meetings, and provide updates on status of work orders.
Maintain routine, preventative and capital maintenance schedules.
Assist maintenance vendors and contractors as needed.
Maintain entrance gates, pond motors, grounds signage, and winterize/de-winterize the community.
Other duties as requested.
Requirements
3+ years of residential maintenance experience.
Excellent communication skills (written and spoken).
Customer service focused, team oriented, reliable, dependable, proactive, and takes initiative.
Knowledge of general maintenance requirements, electrical and plumbing codes, OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements, and state or local governmental safety requirements.
Self-motivated, time management and time-critical prioritization skills.
Valid driver's license is required.
