Maintenance Technician
Location: Chula Vista, CA
Salary range offered: $19 – $21 per hour based on experience.
Job Description The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance duties of Associations involving mostly exterior carpentry, painting, plumbing repairs, electrical repairs and minor roofing repairs in addition to other exterior responsibilities to guarantee that the communities we manage are properly and safely maintained.
Responsibilities
Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that building systems operate efficiently and that the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.
Perform maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical repairs to ensure that the building is properly maintained.
Clean and repair building fixtures including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters and drains.
Operate and perform routine maintenance and repairs on systems & equipment as needed.
Requirements
Experience in exterior carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical repairs, and minor roofing repairs.
Ability to perform preventive maintenance and respond quickly to repair needs.
Physical capability to clean and repair building fixtures.
