At Help Lightning, we are transforming the way our clients provide service worldwide through our innovative virtual expertise software. We are looking to add an enthusiastic, results-oriented individual to our Marketing team who will work diligently to support our aggressive growth goals.

The Business Development Representative will be responsible for engaging with inbound leads and reaching out to targeted companies to identify and qualify potential buyers, understanding their needs. Once interest and needs are established, buyers are introduced to our sales executives for a phone call or a web-based demonstration of our software.

You will learn about the value our software delivers and will be able to present our value proposition to potential clients across all assigned markets. We will provide training on our software, scripts for calls and emails, and access to modern technology tools. You will have a clear set of targets and achievable goals, with a competitive base salary and strong earning potential through our incentive program.

Responsibilities

Work diligently to create marketing qualified leads (MQL) via inbound and outbound sources.

Contact potential pre-qualified prospects within vertical markets independently.

Make calls and send emails at a rate necessary to meet or exceed your MQL creation goals.

Engage all assigned prospects through calls, emails, social media, and data sources.

Record all communications in Salesforce and follow defined sales processes.

Transfer warm leads to sales account executives where appropriate.

Discover new pre-qualified leads and add them to Salesforce.

Requirements

B.S./B.A. degree preferred.

1-2 years of business development or related experience preferred, including internships.

Some experience with B2B prospecting via phone and email, preferably at the corporate level.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems like Salesforce, and marketing automation tools like Pardot.

Willingness to help prospects understand our software and address their needs.

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Attention to detail and a deadline-oriented work ethic.
