Job Overview
This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald’s USA. This franchisee owns a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products, but is a separate company and the employer for the restaurant. All employment matters, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing and scheduling, are handled by the franchisee.
Responsibilities Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers throughout a shift to maintain quality, service and cleanliness. Key duties include:
Food Safety
Internal Communication
Inventory Management
Daily Maintenance and Cleanliness
Managing Crew
Quality Food Production
Exceptional Customer Service
Safety and Security
Scheduling
Training
Shift Managers perform tasks such as planning each shift, monitoring performance, taking action to meet McDonald’s standards, monitoring safety and profitability, and communicating with the next Shift Manager.
Qualifications Previous leadership experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment. Must be 18 years or older.
Compensation & Benefits Starting pay: $13.00 per hour.
