Guided by Safety. Focused on Communities. Powered by Care. We are seeking a detail‑oriented, thorough, and organized Project Manager to join our growing team. In this position, you will be responsible for the management of projects and teams across multiple jobs providing services to customers. Ensure the project is completed according to the mutually agreed upon timeline of customers and Peak Utility Services Group policies and procedures. Responsibilities
Program Strategy and Planning: Develop and maintain the program\'s strategic objectives and plans, ensuring alignment with the organization\'s goals. Define program scope, objectives, and deliverables, and create a comprehensive program management plan. Oversee construction project progress and provide reports on timeline and progress. Attend customer deployments meetings to provide customers with comprehensive job status reports. Stakeholder Management: Identify and engage key stakeholders, ensure effective communication and collaboration, and establish strong relationships with senior management and executives. Project Management: Lead and oversee project managers and teams, monitor progress, resolve issues, mitigate risks, plan budgets and other financial estimates, coordinate and manage schedules for contractors and subcontractors, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Manage materials, equipment, and inventory; ensure compliance with legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local/state regulations. Conduct bid analyses, prepare takeoffs, obtain quotes, seek cost savings, and prepare bids in collaboration with owners. Documentation and Close-out: Develop and maintain project files and close‑out documents. Prepare and schedule turnover meetings and documents to ensure operations teams understand the scopes of work, budgets, productions, and schedules prior to start of project. Resource Management: Allocate and manage budgets, personnel, and equipment to meet program and project goals; optimize resource allocation for efficiency and cost-effectiveness; identify and manage risks and issues; develop risk mitigation and contingency plans. Quality Assurance: Ensure projects meet defined quality standards and establish quality control processes with regular assessments. Performance Metrics and Reporting: Define and track KPIs and provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders. Implement change management strategies to facilitate adoption of deliverables and address resistance to change. Compliance and Governance: Ensure projects adhere to organizational policies, industry regulations, and best practices; maintain program governance and compliance with applicable standards. Experience and Education
Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) with two to three years related experience and/or training; high school diploma or equivalent desired. Three years’ experience as a project manager or in a similar position in utility management; PMP Certification preferred; experience with underground utilities desired. Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications
Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State driver\'s license within two weeks of employment. Candidates must pass criminal and MVR background checks and a pre-employment drug screen. Notes
