Purpose Statement/Position Summary The Manager, Division Budget coordinates all fiscal management activities for assigned Division Heads and Principal Investigators (PIs). The role oversees financial and budgetary administration of multiple funding sources—including Medical Group funds, Hospital funds, and research funds—along with front-end revenue cycle processes such as billing, authorization, and financial reporting metrics. This position supports strategic and operational goals of three divisions.
Responsibilities Perform monthly reconciliations Provide year‑end financial projections Create business plans and budgets Run ad‑hoc financial reports Ensure timely and accurate grant reporting to meet deadlines
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience 5+ years of progressively responsible accounting/operations/management experience or equivalent. Strong financial acumen, advanced Excel skills, and ability to analyze and interpret complex data. Ability to balance day‑to‑day operations with a strategic view of divisional goals. Experience managing or coordinating research activities is highly preferred.
Education/Licensure/Certification Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Business Administration, or a similar discipline required; Master’s degree preferred.
Pay Scale Information $88,962.00–$152,506.00. The final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay varies by factors such as education and experience.
