Madison, WI (Onsite) Pay Rate:
$30/hr. on W2 Overview: The
Medical Device Quality Inspector
plays a key role in ensuring that materials, processes, and final products meet GMP standards and comply with internal procedures and regulatory requirements (ISO 13485 / ISO 9001). This role involves conducting precision part inspections, recording data in SAP, and supporting production within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform inspections of parts and materials using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gage pins, plug/thread gages). Interpret technical drawings to ensure components meet specifications. Record inspection results in SAP ERP system (training provided). Report and document any nonconforming materials using internal systems. Follow standard operating procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Collaborate with team members to support daily production and meet deadlines. Maintain attention to detail to identify defects, deviations, or flaws in components. Participate in cross-functional activities, including overtime when necessary due to production demands. Preferred Qualifications: Experience using
optical measurement machines
or
CMM
(Coordinate Measuring Machine). Familiarity with
ISO 13485
or
ISO 9001
standards. Prior experience in a regulated or medical device manufacturing environment is a plus. Experience with material inspection and data entry into computer-based applications (SAP preferred, training provided). Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to read and write in English. Strong basic math skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Flexible and able to work overtime based on production needs. High attention to detail and quality-focused mindset. Team-oriented, adaptable, and dependable.
